This app provides the convenience of keeping a copy of your identifications in case of loss for faster reissuance. It also provides an expiration date feature that will alert you 1 week before the item expires via the notification center.

The most common question I have received from users is why they need this app when they can just use the camera feature. This app provides convenience to the pictures in the event of losing an ID. If you are pulled over by the police and cant find your insurance card, would you want to have to fumble through all of your pictures or be able to go to a convenient app where the picture is stored?

I have checked with a few police departments on the insurance card picture. Some have said they would not accept it, while others have said it would be up to the discretion of the police officer.

The app is currently not encrypted, but that is a feature coming in future upgrades. The reason for no encryption right now is because the IDs currently in the app are common IDs that most everyone carries in their wallet or purse. If they are lost, they pose little threat. It is no different than if you are pick pocketed.

Encryption and pass code will be coming when the social security card feature is added in the near future.

Future upgrades:
1) Social Security Card
2) Credit Card(s)
3) Encryption
4) PIN Code
5) Concealed Carry Permit
6) Email-the-pic
7) Travelers Checks
